Clinical Research Nurse
Elyssa Johnson, RN, OCN, is the clinical research nurse working closely with Loyola to implement their oncology clinical trials at the cancer center. She has been an oncology nurse for 10 years and an oncology certified nurse (OCN) for eight years. Elyssa has worked in inpatient, outpatient medical oncology, and outpatient radiation oncology settings. She has graduated from NIU with a BA and graduated from Rock Valley College nursing program. Elyssa works with patients participating in Loyola’s oncology clinical trials in DeKalb so they don't have to travel to Loyola for treatment.
