I believe each person is unique and I advocate for our patients, families, and my peers. In my role as clinical manager, I promote evidenced-based care and practice, and create a supportive work environment for all professionals here at The Cancer Center.”
Kim enjoys working with cancer patients. She said, “I have always said that oncology nursing found me. When I graduated from nursing school I accepted a position on a medical oncology unit and did not know what to expect. This position gave me a huge respect for oncology patients and their families. They let me into their lives and let me, even for a brief moment, become a part of their family and allow me to join them on their cancer journey. They made an impact on my life and I have been in oncology ever since.”
