You are a survivor. You’ve battled cancer and won. Your focus now is staying healthy and living a full life. You might be looking for a support network of other survivors to share your experience or perhaps you would like to support others who are currently going through cancer treatment. You can find the resources you need at The Cancer Center at Kishwaukee Community Hospital.
Need a place to go to ask questions and hear from others about their cancer experiences? It is good to talk to others, learn, and share. Various networking groups, classes, and programs are offered here.

Networking Groups
Networking groups are an opportunity for individuals with similar experiences due to cancer to give and receive support, and share information. Come meet new people, learn from other participants, have wonderful discussions or listen to a presentation. Each group is facilitated by a licensed individual. Each month has a topic for discussion.
Men with Cancer Networking Breakfast is an opportunity for men with similar experiences to give and receive support, and share information. Come join this group open to men with cancer for discussion over breakfast.
Caregiver Networking Group is a wonderful opportunity for individuals with similar experiences due to cancer to share information and give and receive support. Participants can find inspiration and encouragement from the new relationships that grow out of the group.
Women with Cancer Network is an opportunity for women with similar experiences to give and receive support, and share information. Come learn from each other, meet new people, have wonderful discussions or possibly have a presentation.
Green Thumb Therapy
Green Thumb Therapy is program for anyone who has been impacted by cancer. The program gives participants the opportunity to work with others in creating and maintaining garden near The Cancer Center. Gardening is very therapeutic and it can reduce stress and pain, increase physical activity, and instill feelings of hope.
